SIOMA Member of Parliament Mr. Kaliye Mandandi has commissioned a 1×3 classroom block at Mbume Primary school in Mbume Ward at a cost of K650, 000.00

Mr. Mandandi said President Hakainde Hichilema’s vision and promises of developing the country was been actualized through the enhanced Constituency Development Fund (CDF)

Mr. Mandandi said the classroom block which has been commissioned will help in the increased enrollment levels at Mbume Primary.

He explained that with the free education policy the new dawn government was up to tasks to ensure learners had adequate classroom blocks and desk.

“We are not only commissioning a classroom block but also a desks so that our children no long learn while seated on the floor,” he said.

Sioma Council Secretary Mr. Sydney Hamooya called on the school management, pupils and Community to look after the infrastructure

Mr. Hamooya said the Council was equal to the task to ensure that Constituency Development Fund project are delivered to the people on time.

He said the classroom block was constructed at a total amount of K650, 000.00 and was equipment with 60 desk which were also procured under the CDF.
