Sioma MP Mandandi Leads Quality Assurance Drive for CDF Projects

Sioma Member of Parliament, Hon. Kaliye Mandandi, has launched a comprehensive monitoring exercise to ensure that projects funded by the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) adhere to the highest quality standards.

This initiative highlights the Sioma leadership’s commitment to delivering durable and impactful projects that benefit the community.

Hon. Mandandi was accompanied by key stakeholders, including Sioma Town Council Secretary Mrs. Chiti Nsama Mizinga, CDF Committee Chairperson Mr. Muhau, Acting Director of Finance Mr. Fredrick Musukwa, and Acting Director of Planning Mrs. Gertrude Chungu. Together, they conducted spot checks on various ongoing CDF projects, emphasizing timely delivery and strict adherence to quality standards.

“These projects belong to the people of Sioma, and it is our responsibility to ensure that contractors deliver work that is both high-quality and durable. The community deserves nothing less,” Hon. Mandandi stated during one of the inspections.

Mrs. Mizinga, the Town Council Secretary, echoed the MP’s sentiments: “Our role as custodians of these projects is to ensure that every kwacha spent translates into tangible benefits for the community. Spot checks are essential for maintaining transparency and ensuring contractors uphold their commitments.”
